(STATS) - The third annual Big Sky-MVFC Challenge Series will involve 10 games and 15 schools played over the first five weeks of the 2019 season.
Missouri Valley Football Conference teams will be at home seven times. Highlight games include UC Davis at two-time defending FCS champion North Dakota State on Sept. 21 and Northern Iowa, which is playing three of the Challenge games, at Weber State on Sept. 28.
The series was created in 2017 to publicize matchups between two of the leading FCS conferences. The MVFC won the series 5-3 in each of the last two years.

Aug. 29: Missouri State at Northern Arizona
Aug. 31: Montana at South Dakota
Sept. 7: Southern Utah at Northern Iowa
Sept. 14: Montana State at Western Illinois
Sept. 21: Idaho State at Northern Iowa, Northern Arizona at Illinois State, South Dakota at Northern Colorado, Southern Utah at South Dakota State and UC Davis at North Dakota State
Sept. 28: Northern Iowa at Weber State
