Analysis: The Rangers say Sunday night that the 28-year-old left winger has a torn anterior cruciate ligament, a second degree sprain of the medial collateral ligament and a medial meniscus tear in his right knee that will require season-ending surgery. An MRI revealed the damage that occurred in the third period New York's 2-1 win at St. Louis on Saturday. Frolov was injured when Blues forward Brad Winchester fell over his leg. |

| July 27 9:05 AM PT10:05 AM MT11:05 AM CT12:05 PM ET16:05 GMT12:05 AM 北京时间9:05 AM MST11:05 AM EST20:05 UAE - The Rangers are adding some offensive punch by agreeing to terms with Frolov. In 536 regular-season NHL games, Frolov - who can play on either wing - has 168 goals and 381 points. He is expected to play alongside Marian Gaborik, the Rangers' top offensive threat. Analysis: The 28-year-old winger is joining New York on Tuesday after spending his first seven NHL seasons with the Los Angeles Kings. Frolov has scored over 20 goals five times - including two 30-goal seasons - but is coming off a disappointing one in which he had only 19 goals and 32 assists in 81 games. Terms weren't immediately available. Frolov earned $4 million last season when he scored his fewest goals since scoring 14 in his rookie season of 2002-03. |
