Analysis: Moore was selected for his only Pro Bowl in 2011, but was widely considered one of the best players at his position. Coach Rex Ryan called him the best guard to ever play for the Jets. Moore received a framed No. 65 jersey at a news conference during which he fought back tears at times while reflecting on his career.

Analysis: A person familiar with the decision told The Associated Press that Moore changed his mind Wednesday morning after agreeing to a deal the night before. The person spoke on conditioning of anonymity because no announcement was planned. The 33-year-old Moore played 10 seasons for the Jets.
