Analysis: Odell Beckham Jr., Brandon Marshall and Dwayne Harris all were placed on injured reserve last week after going down with season-ending injuries. In addition, wide receiver Sterling Shepard was among the team's inactive players against Denver because of an ankle injury. Engram appears to be the beneficiary.

Analysis: The rookie has shown he's generally good for about five catches and 50 yards per game, numbers that already put him in the TE2 conversation. Engram clearly has a chance to improve that status, however, if he can become more of a factor within the red zone.

Analysis: Fantasy owners should feel free to get Engram back in the lineup.

Analysis: The rookie led New York's receiving corps with seven targets in addition to scoring his first NFL touchdown, so his short-term outlook still appears promising despite the Giants' struggles on offense. Engram may still be a risk to use as a TE1 right now, but he's definitely a player worth holding onto.

Analysis: Engram was targeted five times in his NFL debut, mostly as a check-down option with the Giants' wide receivers struggling to get separation for much of the night. The first-round pick appears to have a bright future, though he still may be a little ways off from becoming a regular fantasy starter.
