(AP) -- LONDON (SE) - Norwich beat Aston Villa 2-0 at Carrow Road to finish the season in 12th place.
First-half goals from Grant Holt and Simeon Jackson secured a well-deserved victory for Paul Lambert's men against a Villa side that just avoided the drop.
Villa have to look to 2012/2013 and hope for a big improvement, while Norwich can reflect on a wonderful first season back in the top flight.
