Scott leads Arkansas past Charlotte 80-67

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) Rickey Scott set a career high for the second straight game, scoring 23 points as Arkansas defeated Charlotte 80-67 on Wednesday night.
Scott scored 14 consecutive points at one point for the Razorbacks (9-3), helping them open a 21-point lead. The sophomore scored 18 points in Arkansas' previous game against Louisiana Tech and nearly matched that during his personal run against the 49ers, outscoring Charlotte 14-4 to close out the first half and open the second.
Ten players scored for the Razorbacks, who have won four straight and are 9-0 in Bud Walton Arena this season. Mardracus Wade scored 14 points and hit four 3-pointers for Arkansas.
DeMario Mayfield was one of four 49ers (7-4) to finish with 11 points, adding 10 rebounds.
